This episode I spoke on only one topic: calling my mother and the fear of making up with my family.
Happy Birthday Carrie!
This episode is all about music and about keeping our focus on God!
I spoke about some music, like Matt Maher, Adam Bitter, Chris Tomlin and the Passion conference albums (most of which are available on AmazonMP3.com or in iTunes).
Also about the phatmass website, the bishop chess tshirt on that site and the hip-hop album page. The album “The Road To M.A.S.” is linked off that page and his album is pretty awesome, and I encourage you to buy it on iTunes if that’s your style. The track I played was “Fire Proof Messengers”. The artist is an active Catholic in FOCUS, which helps teens and young adults in college not fall away from the Church, as well as bringing more souls to it.
Try to keep your God goggles on, as you always need to be sure focus is on Him in your life. Not out of obligation, yet out of love. He’s pretty awesome, right?
This is a podcast where I tried to cover some topics all at once, so sorry if everything is a bit rushed and all over the place. Still recording all in one take, feeling more comfortable yet the ‘um’ monster is creeping in.
Marc of the Catholic Vocations Podcast has an awesome podcast. Jeff Geerling is a good man and could use your prayers. Check out Jonathan and read his book, it’s interesting and it is part of his journey towards God.
Discovering Prayer and St. Joseph’s Guide are key resources for the home learner of Liturgy of the Hours. I started with Christian Prayer (recommend for the beginner) and moved to the four volume set.
Here is the blog post that got a ton of hits, thanks to Father Z’s blog.
Working on self-discipline and sticking to doing one thing, and doing that one thing well and consistantly. Will be doing regular podcasts.
